A journey through the Middle Ages: noble palaces, art museums and the peaceful charm of the Malatesta hills
A full-day experience exploring two charming villages in the Valconca area.
In the morning, the tour takes place in Saludecio with the experience “Meet Saint Amato”: a guided visit through the village with costumed performers in medieval attire. Participants will follow a narrative route through the streets of the historic center, discovering local history and the story of Saint Amato, with visits to the parish church and the museum. This is followed by a typical lunch with local products.
In the afternoon, transfer to Mondaino and welcome in Piazza Maggiore. The guided tour continues with a visit to the fortress and the village, enriched by the story of the peace agreement of 1459 between the Malatesta and Montefeltro families, re-enacted during the Palio del Daino. The itinerary then continues to the panoramic terrace and to the so-called “Dragon Isotta’s cave”, with storytelling about the local legends. The experience ends with costumed performances and an afternoon snack with typical local products.
