A ring excursion inspired by the friendship between the undisputed lord of Castrum Illicis (Casteldelci), Uguccione della Faggiola, and the Supreme Poet Dante, in a meeting point area between Emilia Romagna, Marche and Tuscany in an authentic and enchanting Apennine landscape. Just in Casteldelci in 1250, was born the famous leader, Uguccione della Faggiola, who would host Dante Alighieri receiving in return, as Boccaccio says, the autograph text of Hell, in absolute dedication.
Here, near Mount Fumaiolo, where the Tiber was born, we meet a Apennine landscape where green is the predominant color, rich in paths, mule tracks and water sources that give the name "green Apennines".
