Urban Trekking in Faenza: A Remembrance Trail and the City's Air Raid Shelters
An unusual way to discover this city, retracing, accompanied by the passionate story of a volunteer from the Argylls Romagna Association, the symbolic sites of World War II, the Resistance, and the local Holocaust, remembering deportations, air raid shelters, and finally the long-awaited liberation. The route includes the Tempietto, the Ponte della Memoria, the Monastery of Santa Chiara, and the Museum of the Second World War and the Holocaust. Lunch will be served at the Circolo Torricelli.
