FIRST DAY
Arrival in Reggio Emilia and accommodation in the hotel. Morning at leisure while strolling through the city centre: Cathedral, Prampolini Square, Basilica of San Prospero and especially visit the current exhibition at Palazzo Magnani.
Welcome lunch tasting local specialties. Afternoon visit to a wine producer, understanding the production from fermentation to bottling, up to the final tasting of the famous Lambrusco, typical sparkling red wine from this area, but nowadays well-known all over the world.
Gourmet dinner in a traditional restaurant located in the city centre.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

SECOND DAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to a producer Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese discovering how it is produced, in the same way since eight centuries. From the milk production to the aging, an expert will explain all the phases of this fantastic product famous all over the world to be the King of Cheeses. At the end, tasting session of different ages. Then visit to a farm which produces Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia. The Balsamico, which is obtained from the cooked grape, must mature with a slow acetification derived from natural fermentation and progressive concentration in barrels of different woods.
Finally, tasting of different kind of Balsamic Vinegar.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant on the hills.
Departure.
